There will be a contract and some paperwork that we will go over together.  You will receive a copy of everything.  This process takes about 15 minutes.

We can discuss different locations that you have in mind for your shoot, what "look" you're gonig for in your photos and clothing options.  You are the final say in where your shoot takes place, but I would be happy to assist you in choosing a location that best suits your needs for your session.  Locations might include a park, your backyard, your farm, a unique building in town, etc.  You can even come to our farm and we can take photos using our bins, equipment, fields, and any old buildings that catch your eye.  Because I rely primarily on natural light, the best time for photo shoots are earlier in the morning or later in the evening so that we are not dealing with harsh shadows or squinty eyes.

Maternity sessions are best shot between weeks 32-36 of your pregnancy.

If you're looking to book a session for your newborn, please schedule an appointment before the birth of your child so that we can efficiently accomodate everyone's schedules.  The shoot should happen when your baby is brand new -12 days old.  This is the best sleeping stage they will ever be in.

Within 24-48 hours, you will be able to view an edited "sneak peek" on the website.  To access your photos, click on “Photographs” on the homepage > “Galleries” > “Clients.”  I will send you a password to access your gallery if a password is requested or if the session is private.  For those sessions that do not require a password, there will also be a sneak peek on my Facebook page (under Blueberry Creek Photography).  If you "like" the facebook page before your session, your sneak peek will automatically show up in your feed for your friends and family to see.  Feel free to tag yourself in the photos, but please do not crop out my logo.  I ask for 2 weeks from the date of the shoot to complete the editing of your photos.  Once a minimum print order has been placed ("minimum" is decided by you, the client), I will release all edited photos for download.  I do this because I want you to have some, if not all, quality prints of your investment.  I chose a print lab after many hours of research and product comparison.  I did this because there really is a noticeable difference in how your photos are printed and withstand the elements (sunlight, time, etc.) between labs.
